Amaryllis drops

Hi All,

I have always enjoyed with fascination images reflected in drops of water. Several years ago I was able to get a Bauhinia species tree to bloom for me in a pot. It formed a beautiful but small drop of nectar in the flower. Though small it was the largest droplet of nectar I had ever seen and could not resist the temptation to taste it using a toothpick. The droplet was very thick and gooey but the taste was unbelievably deliciously sweet.

Anyone else ever taste any nectar?
