Just yesterday I repaired a portion of a brick walk that had been undermined by the activities of ants -- it had sunk about 3" below its surroundings, enough for a stumble. I had originally underlain the brick with landscape fabric, but clearly not enough of it in this spot. Jim Jones Lexington, MA
