Native Bulbs for the Prairies of Dallas

Hello All,

I had a customer call and they want 6-8,000 native bulbs for a planting in
Dallas, Texas. I first suggested *Cooperia drummnndii* but we do not have
enough for such a large order. Would anyone be able to suggest another
suitable native bulb that might be available on the market? I had visited
with another PBS member and they recommended *Cammasia*, but after talking
some more we were afraid that any commercial source of *Cammassia* would no
longer represent a native selection or strain. Any thoughts?

Thank you for your help. And...if anyone missed it...I am still in the red
cabin farming bulbs in Texas, but I'm now married! So, Rebecca and I are in
the cabin (traveling right now though) farming away.

Sincerely,
Chris
