Import Permit

Since all orchids are covered under CITES, you will probably need an import
permit. Cypripedium are covered under CITES II. But -- check with Thimble
Farms. Some Canadian orchid vendors (such as Paramount Orchids) are
authorized to ship to the US, so the recipient is not required to have an
import permit.
