Here in northern Italy, my specimens survive with temperatures -
6/8 C°
they are either in full ground in a flowerbed with light protection
by old tall pines,
as in some pots where i grew from seeds I got some years ago.
In my experience they don't form rich clumps and fear surface fungus
which
hurt their neck and then kill the tubers, expecially in warm wet
springs.
I never got seeds from my plants.
