Hi Adam: Hi Adam: National Weather Service has primary weather stations (Chicago O'Hare Airport for instance) and a number of cooperative weather stations (Chicago Botanic Garden and a number of others in this area). If you search the NWS site you can observe the data we submit. I'm afraid only the primary weather stations make the national news.
