Cyrtanthus elatus or Valotta Speciosa

I have the poorly-growing, non-flowering strain. I got some
mixed-flower-color bulbs at a big box merchant and grew them outdoors in
an 18" wide pot for a few years in morning sun. They lived and grew larger
somewhat, and offset.

Then I read this species/hybrid does better as a pond marginal in the sun,
so in April I set the pot in my pond in full sun. The water level is well
below the basal plates but the soil is always wet.

The bigger leaves disappeared during our record-hot July but there are
four smaller leaves, looking extremely healthy, that have remained looking
exactly the same, not growing at all, for at least the last 12 months.

I can't really be sure what it is because it never blooms.
