Hi,

We've had discussions in the past about Tritonia dubia which a number of us
grew thinking it was Ixia pumilio. I grew mine from seed that was
identified as Ixia pumilio which is about the same size but has short
spikes of brick red flowers. Tritonia dubia blooms much earlier than
most of the other species I grow some of which have just started blooming
recently and others have yet to bloom.

My Tritonia dubia was much happier this year with less rainfall than usual
and bloomed a very long time.
