The reference to Synge in my previous message got me thinking about another daffodil which is illustrated in that book, one which seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth. Can anyone tell me if the cultivar 'Cantatrice' still exists? I grew this back in the '60s, but as the garden changed over the years it disappeared. Recently I've been asking my daffodil friends if they know about it but so far I've drawn a blank. If anyone knows of a source for 'Cantatrice', I would like to know about it.
