A polar View

Greetings all,
With all due respect, anyone living in Maryland should only utter the word "Polar" in no more than a sibilant whisper. Here in Northern Wisconsin its been so long since the temperature was at least 20F that I've forgotten the exact date. Snow is piled so high that as I drive into my driveway it resembles a snow tunnel. Still, in the end the days will get longer, the snow will melt, and the sun will once again warm our faces.
I have been employed in the bulb industry almost for my entire career and still I am impatient for the first tulip to bloom, the sight of Crocus,Galanthus,Pushkinia and Muscari to cover my lawns with their colours, I have never lost the thrill, I hope I never shall.

keep warm and kind regards
David Ryle
