Miss the point.

The metrics presented by idealogs and media never include statistics from the 90% South.

Ice coverage info was not available via satellite until 1978-9

The current Antarctic ice mass is above the annual mean recorded since 1978-9.

You are correct that it has retreated from the very RECENT RECORD HIGH coverage.
