Dear Pieter,

Can you please e-mail me the article on Zambians addiction for orchid
tubers. My passion is orchids and I currently chair the Indian Subcontinent
Regional Orchid Specialist Group for the IUCN/SSC. Many of our orchid
species are also over used in drugs and other ayurvedic preparations. While
orchids are my passion we love the Amaryllids and that is how I come to
join the group. Scadoxus multiflorus is grown in our area in large numbers
from the introductions that my grandparents made way back in early 1900's.

I am thoroughly enjoying the postings. I would love to receive any news on
Worlseya rayneri and look for seeds of all South African Amaryllids.

Warm regards from the Himalayas.
