They appear in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox which is the one I use. I don't know about the others. There needs to be something on the other side of the pipe symbol to make Jay's creation work. It could be the name of the plant, but even just a number works. I'd be interested in knowing how many people think the mouseover words (which obviously would apply if you use IE) are helpful. Since every photo link has to be changed in order to create the thumbnail, it would be quicker to make those changes if you had less text. I'm happy to take your thoughts privately and then share the consensus with the group. But thanks go to Jay for figuring out how to do this for us. I know it took a lot of time and thought. Mary Sue
