Hello, I'm planning on ordering some ranunculus from Van Bourgondien. Years ago I placed an order from them for the same and the bulbs I received looked like pieces of tubers. I contacted them and they sent me another order, but they were still pitiful looking. Anyway, I planted them and in the spring I had the most spectacular display, all of them huge, blooming exactly at the same time. Well, I figured I'd buy much larger tubers from the local nurseries, and also tried "Dutch Garden Bulbs," but they never bloomed at the same time or as spectacular. Maybe it was just the weather that year, who knows? Anyone else have similar experiences? Charles Edelman, Zone 10, South Texas
