Second the motion, as Ipheion uniflorum 'White Star' appeared in one 
garden place here a year ago, one of those bulbs-in-a-bag affairs 
attached to a big pasteboard label/picture thingie.

Interesting, the same source coughed up Ipheion 'Rolf Fiedler' and 
Iris 'Katherine Hodgkin'.

I hope to report how Ms. Hodgkin does in the open garden in a year or 
two. At the risibly low price asked, how could one resist the 
opportunity to plant a patch of the things instead of nursing them 
along in pots?
