Sprekelia dormancy question

Good to hear from you, Norman. I live very close to you, in Redwood City. I also have a pot of Sprekelia formosissima, which I take out of the weather when the leaves die in the autumn, but I don't let the pot get very dry. In the spring, as soon as I see new growth, I start watering again, and put it out in the sun. However, in our mild climate, I believe this may be an unnecessary precaution – I believe Spekelia can be left out in the ground or in a pot here, and it will flourish.
