Dear all:
Tulipa saxatilis (like T.linifolia, all forms of clusiana and a
few hybrids like "Queen of Sheba), is very permanent in rather mild climates
like this. All of them are grown in strong light but the foliage never
receives direct sunlight. After flowers they are beheaded. As for Tulipa
cretica I have grown it for 12 years from wild collected bulbs and it has
never flowered.
