Please help resolve some nomenclature confusion. Here in San Diego,
we grow a giant crinum with long, wine colored leaves and a pale pink
flower that we call Crinum nigra which we all assume is a variety of
Crinum asiaticum. That name does not appear in any literature that
we've been able to find, however. The closest thing we find when we
search the web is Crinum asiatium 'Cuprifolium.' Can anyone clear up
this confusion?

thanks!!!

Nan
