empty messages

If messages are sent in html and not in plain or styled text the 
messages may be deleted because of the pbs email list content 
filtering rules.
Everyone should check their email programs and make sure not to send 
in html. (I have Eudora and I can't send in html, I don't think.)

If you send an attachment, the email will also be filtered out. The 
list is set not to receive attachments of any kind in order to 
protect its members from viruses.

My mac receives html messages differently than a pc; I get some 
embedded messages as attachements, but in both cases the filters will 
make sure that these messages don't go to the list as a whole.

Hope this helps a bit, and someone can probably elaborate.
