Kathy,

Did you only go to the southern end, or was that the most spectacular
display. We are going to be in Death Valley (driving from Las Vegas airport)
from March 12th to March 15th and would like to budget our time wisely. Do
you have some specific sites that were especially rewarding?

We went to Death Valley last week to find the southern end awash with color.
A visit to Table Mountain yesterday was similarly rewarding. No one
mentions the heady scent that wafts over the hillsides from these displays
but it was exceptional at Table Mountain. I would love to see the Arizona
desert this year. Anyone who can make it should find these sites stunning.
