Having bought a nice pot in bud with 5 scapes of a gracilis type
hippeastrum ( E 5) I tried to find out its name. As said they are
gracile flowers, a light orange-red with a basal yellow blotch on
each tepal. When I looked it up in Google I came across pictures
with and without a yellow blotch. Which one is the correct one?
By the way gracile or not it was tetraploid like the big ones.
