Jane; Thanks, that may be the problem. I have mine planted decidedly shallow. I recall that I saw a reference that suggested shallow planting for Eucomis. I may have to wait out the year and when I repot next year plunge then deeper. They do love a really wet soil. I also think they may need bigger pots. It seems they are very affected by air temperature and get a bit flaccid in very warm weather. Arnold New Jersey
