Dear All,

Andrew Wilson who lives in San Diego and is not a member of this list has
written me privately,
"The desert is truly wonderful this year. Over 8" of rain (200 mm) have
fallen, far above normal. Also, the rains came early and continued." He
says Hesperocallis undulata is in bloom, but it is difficult to photograph
since there are so many annuals. So he doesn't have a picture for our wiki,
but suggested this link instead. Hopefully all of the members of our list
who live in Southern California will have a chance to visit the flowers.
Our newspaper said it could be the best display in 50+ years.
