Mary Sue, I, for one, could not agree with you more. The whole idea of using a larger pot only to cut the volume and depth using "fillers" seems to defeat the use of a larger pot. I kept looking for some words of "wisdom" in the discussion, but none appeared -- that is until you submitted this Email. Doug
