hi all, i remember seeing the Bomareas in bloom in gardens (mostly at the Strybing Arboretum and UC-Berkeley) in the SF, northern CA area. gorgeous bunches of flowers. i brought back some seeds but none germinated under my rather neglectful conditions. i also have seen some Bomareas in the wild in coastal southern brazil, which were not in bloom at the time. i wish i knew the species but they seemed to be much smaller than the ones you see in cultivation, which i believe are from mexico. ========= tsuh yang __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
