It's pretty dead around here in the greenhouses, and very dead outside 
them.  There is even a lull in the flowering of the cyclamen right now.

One thing is in bloom:  I have my first flowers on some bulbs of Haemanthus 
pauculifolius, a relative of H. albiflos (the White Paintbrush).  These 
were grown from seeds from Rachel & Rod Saunders' Silverhill Seeds.

The narrow umbels of pauculifolius have bright green bracts surrounding the 
white flowers.  I have not photographed these yet, but an image of H.
