Dear all:
Pancratiums are indeed fascinating plants. I have learnt from
Angelo that the bulbs must be surprisingly deep in the container (or soil).
           P. canariense is extremely easy and dependable and has beautiful
bluish foliage.
           P. parviflorum I have grown fro many years as Vagaria parviflora
and it was extremely easy to flower year after year. Cultivation was in big
pots with drained alklaine soil ina Mediterranean cycle. The foliage was
strkingly similar to that of Lycoris radiata but broader. Gorgeous plant and
it increases rapidly by offsets. It never produced any seed.
Regards
Alberto
