Hippeastrum equestere?

In regard to the old orange hippeastrum garden plant I described,
Carolyn asked 'Does it self-sow?'

--Not really, but the seed is fertile and plants grow readily in pans
of good soil. The old fashioned red-orange bulbs I have from another
unknown source do self-sow in the area around the plants, especially if
weeds are keeping the surface nicely moist during crucial germination
time. I will send an image of this one tomorrow. Seed is quite
uniform, but it is not really the same as the supposed H. equestere we
were discussing.

P.S. I have many, many seedlings in bud for the first time this week.
Will send images for the amaryllisly inclined among us.
