Hi, members- What I received as Crinum scabrum many years ago, survived and flowered for several years in western Oregon, Z 7. I did finally lose it one winter, but it would be worth trying again, in a slightly more sheltered spot. If there are selections which are hardier (?)that also would be a good choice. When I bought it, I thought it would be a "buy and die" plant, so I was pleasantly surprised when it kept coming back, without special effort. Growing it as a pot plant might also be a possibility.
