Hi Malcolm:
It is surprising what recipes are spread parrot fashion. The
important thing you need to know is that Leontochir grows in N. Chile in
very well drained soil, frost free conditions and lots of sun. If seed is
fresh germination will be good. Sow in autumn and protect from chilly
weather. The tuberous roots will be dormant in summer.
