I grew P. incrassatum in Tucson, Az in a raised bed in Arizona's sandy clay. The bed was watered twice a week, on my irrigation system, all year. The plant went dormant for the summer and didn't seem to mind the water. It did beautifully for the four years I lived there. We were at a 3,000 foot elevation with intense sun. I brought it with me when I moved to Florida and it is just beginning to show some growth after being dried off this summer. After reading that wonderful introduction...I shall have to grow more pelargoniums.
