Dear list members,

The seeds arrived very quickly following my order and all had
sprouted. Some of the tiny roots were damaged in transit but I planted
everything, some in individual pots, some in group pots. All were planted
on the surface of the soil. Some are in shade, some are in full sun.
Those in shade are leaning towards the light so they'll all be in sun by today.
Most are doing well though some seeds have shriveled and turned
yellow. I am very excited by the opportunity to attempt to grow this and
appreciate everyone who put in so much work.

Paradise, California, Sunset Zone 7 but my own observations suggest a
microclimate closer to 8 or even 9. Mediterranean, 50 to 70 inches of rain
between November and April, currently in the fifties F at night, eighties F
during the day.
