Dear Mary Sue and all,
Indeed this species remains an engime for me as well. Three years ago I
got 100 large mature bulbs from South Africa. I planted them in all
sorts of conditions: in the ground, containers, on the coast, under
plastic cover. Not one has flowered yet and I pose myself the question
if they are genetically apt to flower. May be I should try some other stock.
Kind Regards
