   Dear forum members,
  Now that all summergrowers have gone dormant now B. californica is the 
only plant still flowering and seems in great form in spite of the 
heatwave here at the moment (37°C-97F).  Easy to grow in the open ground 
  and multiplies well from seed. If this species is anything to go by I 
ought to trying  some of the other Brodeaias    Regards
