I agree with what Jane McGary said. I do not have the knowledge, education or expertise that most of you have but even as a novice I prefer books that use the scientific names and information. Even if the botanists have changed the name of a plant recently, I have a better chance of finding the plant or information about it if I know the scientific name. Carolyn in Los Gatos
