One man's tender is another man's hardy - but I wouldn't call IRF tender here. I've had two or three clumps outside for at least 3 years and it goes down to single digit Fahrenheit without problem - albeit in a sunny south facing bed that is perfectly drained. They are increasing nicely. This year they've been repeatedly snowed and iced upon but the leaves remain in good shape.
