I have a nice pot full of Zigadenus freemontii v. minor flowering now under glass, raised in two years from Archibald seed In case you get worried I promise not to eat it nor allow any herbivores into my greenhouse. The minor epithet is well deserved since this variety is flowering at only 15cm. Is this the normal time for this bulb to flower in habitat, which I am told is damp coastal grass land ?
