Hi Tony, Those I have planted this depth include forms and hybrids of pillansii, vigorous forms of borbonica, angusta and other vigorous sorts which are un-named here for various reasons. The important thing is that the bulbs have to well established before they can be literally plunged deeper. Sadly I can't think of any references for Watsonia hybrids at all, there's a lot of work still to be done, and especially in the US re. the hybrids once bred by Mrs. J. H. Bullard of LA.
