Dear Dell,
 In Holland they cultivate wintergrowing Moraeas  during their
relatively cool summers.  But they have to lift the corms every year in
Novembre to store them during their dormancy  at 26-30° and replant  in
the spring. Storing them in to ground would not work as it is too cool.
