I was surprised to read John Lonsdale,s comment that the buds on his rotted
away in the heat of autumn, like Paul I grow it here with no problems but it
flowers late winter, I assume it should be spring flowering in the northern
hemisphere ? Or have I the wrong idea of its flowering time ? I don,t get
seed forming on my merenderas or colchicums ubfortunately and the only seed
i have ever tried was some of Rob,s kesselringii seed Paul gave me to try,
this also germinated freely and i am waiting to see if the babies come up
again soon as its almost time it did here
